About Me: I'm a Mama to two little boys, Cooper and Cade, I'm married to my best friend, Jeff who is a firefighter and we have a pup named Pepper. I'm a nature girl, I love being outside, being near the water in the Summer or in the mountains in the Fall. I'm passionate about healthy living including things like eating well, exercising (cross fit!! yeah!!), making time for yourself, meditating, yoga, reading and just doing things in general for the greater good. I wanna be happy and I want everyone around me to be happy too, so if I can help with that then I'm gonna try my best.

About my photography business: I started my photography business in January 2008 after my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) encouraged me to quit the corporate world and follow my passion. At that time the only thing I knew for certain was that I lived and breathed photography! So I decided to take the plunge into the great unknown. Nearly two years to the day after I launched my photography business I found myself in a doula training workshop with a new husband and a 6 month old baby boy. All of a sudden I had a new fiery passion: birth. Or, I guess you could say, women's rights in birth. I am so incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to spend the last four years meeting so many amazing women and their families and to have walked with them down that joyful, (sometimes) frightening and life altering path to parenthood. To say that it has fulfilled me is an understatement. So, needless to say, when the opportunity to incorporate my passions for birth and photography into one came about, well, let's just say I was beyond excited! It's been three years since I photographed my first birth and I love it just as much today as I did then, if not even more so. "I also offer maternity, newborn and family photography."
